The Raiders Volleyball program took a moment before the game to recognize that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. The gym and players were covered in Pink. The Raiders volleyball team and Patriots stood on the sideline with pink roses to honor those who had survived breast cancer. JV player Kamyrn George read the script dedicating the match to all men and woman who have been touched by breast cancer. All proceeds from the gate and concession stand will be donated to Breast Health program at the Greenville Health system.
The Raiders had a fantastic defensive night vs a strong offensive Patriots. The Raiders lead the second and third match by at least four points but lost the lead do to too many serve receive errors. The Raiders season is coming to an end as next week is there last. The Raiders will be on the road Tuesday and Wednesday but return home for their last game of the season against Clinton. The Raiders will celebrate Senior Myrand Reppart. Mackenzie Ward had 5 kills, Rachel Delio had 3 kills and 2 blocks and Raiders had 22 digs on the night.
