The JV Raiders got their 2 win in region play last night as they avenged a loss from last week against the Red Raiders of Greenville. This game the Raiders came out with more energy to start the game. It was a tight game throughout as the Raiders were down one at the half. The second half defensive effort was the the game changer as the team only gave up 9 second half points with only 2 in the fourth quarter. The Raiders showed poise and heart as they closed out the game. Noah Mosley hit a clutch free throw to put the Raiders up 3 with 10 seconds left. The team was lead by Devon Redd with 17 points, followed by Michael Wormley and Mason Aiken with 5 a piece and Jaylon Simpson and Noah Mosley rounding out the scoring with 2 and 1 respectively. The Raiders will be back in action at home Friday at home against Eastside with a start time of 5:30.
