We invite you to meet some of our LCSD 55 senior spring student-athletes. Our Raiders have taken some time to answer questions to allow us to learn more about them. We are proud of these student-athletes’ preparations and commitment to their teams. Please meet our spring senior student-athlete, Garrett Addy.

How long have you been playing your spring sport for LDHS?I played for LDHS Baseball for 6 years. 4 years on JV, 2 on Varsity

What is your favorite memory of your sport?

My favorite memory is the Boiling Springs game my Junior year when I threw somebody out at home from right field and made a successful diving catch.

What are your plans after graduation?

My plan after graduation is to go to Clemson University and major in Agriculture.

If you could have dinner with any person.past, or present, who would that be and why?

If I could have dinner with any person, I would have dinner with Chipper Jones because he was a very successful baseball player and a lot like me. He likes to hunt and fish too.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to Canada so I could hunt and explore the outdoors.

Name an athlete who inspires you most?

An athlete that inspires me most is Luke Kuechly.

What is your favorite movie?

My favorite movie is Lone Survivor. 

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is steak.

What does being a part of Raider Athletics mean to you?

Being a part of Raiders Athletics means being a part of a team and being about to represent LDHS through athletics and be a role model for young athletes.

Is there anyone you would like to thank for helping you during your athletic career?

I would like to thank my family for their support through the years. I would like to thank all of my coaches but especially Coach Chris Liner, Coach Tori Patterson, and Coach Dale Nelson for their support of me on and off the fields.
